Kompletion ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Cones mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: When you create an account to save your progress, we collect your email address and a unique user identifier.
• Location Data: Cones requires your precise location (GPS) to power the "Hot/Cold Radar" and to verify your presence at a volcanic site to unlock badges. This data is processed in real-time.
• Camera & Photos: We request access to your camera and photo library strictly to allow you to generate custom shareable images locally on your device. We do not upload, collect, or store your photos on our servers.
• Usage Data & Crash Reports: We collect anonymous diagnostic data to help us identify bugs and improve the app's performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to provide and improve the app's core functionality. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal location history, photos, or account details with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

3. Third-Party Services

Cones utilizes Google Firebase to securely authenticate users and store your visited volcano history. Your data is handled in accordance with Google's privacy and security protocols.

4. Data Storage & Deletion

You have full control over your data. You can completely delete your account and your visited history at any time directly via the settings menu inside the Cones application. Upon requesting deletion, your data is permanently removed from our active database.

5. Children's Privacy

Cones does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for the app or send any personal information about yourself to us.
